An easy-to-use online tool that helps you examine in contrast various types of files, images and code lines to find the differences.
The app has a very straightforward interface and groups all its primary features within the menu integrated on the upper side of the page.
In the beginning, users get to see the section that enables them to find differences between two texts and the easiest way to do this is to open the first file, copy the content and paste it in the left pane, marked as “Original Text.” They have to repeat the steps for the second file, paste the paragraphs in the right pane and click the “Find Difference” button.
After these operations, the online tool uses red and green highlights to show dissimilarities in parallel or one after the other if checking the “Inline diff” option.
In addition to that, you can switch from “plaintext” to one of the supported programming languages to verify syntax, and save the resulting comparison for a day, a week, a month or a year to share it with friends or coworkers.
Take advantage of the additional features to compare spreadsheets, PDF files or Word documents. Paste the data you want to examine in contrast in the two panes or upload the files from your computer.
The app also helps you analyze two images and advises you to drop the pictures in the boxes placed on the upper area of the window. It highlights mismatches using pink in the container below and provides a set of further instruments for ignoring colors or transparency.
